GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE Skill Reset Guide for PvE

A current PvE skill reset guide for choosing which NIKKE units are worth using skill uninstallers on, with tower, raid, and bossing priorities laid out by role.

8 min read

If you only care about PvE, reset the units that are no longer part of your tower, raid, or bossing teams and keep the ones you still need for those roles. Skill uninstallers stack, so if you are unsure about a unit, you can hold them until the next reset cycle instead of spending them now.

What Skill Uninstallers Let You Do

Skill uninstallers arrive through in-game mail and can stack, letting you hold multiple and use them as needed. If you are not confident about resetting a unit yet, it is valid to save uninstallers for future reset cycles rather than spend them immediately. The current reset window has been roughly every half anniversary or anniversary.

prerequisites

  • Skill Uninstallers from mail (they stack in inventory)
  • Any unit you plan to reset
  • Check reset window (cycle has recently been every 6 months)
  • Decide which units are safe based on PvE usage before spending

Which Units Still Matter in Tower Teams

Tower unit priorities depend on which teams you still run for specific towers. Reset units that are only temporary picks or are used in fallback setups. The following table gives an overview of which units still matter for each tower.

Tower Core units Alternate/Fallback Reset if only temporary
Elysion DKW, Maids, Red Hood, Helm Vesti (if using Rapi), Rapi Units not used in current team
Missilis Tia, Naga, Liter Mihara (off burst) Remove Tia only if not needed
Tetra Anis (optimal B1) Moran, Rouge, Bunny Aid, Bunny Milk, Blanc, Summer Rosanna, Alice, Volume Volume (if just a fallback)
Pilgrim - (flexible, overlap with campaign) Maid Mast, Privaty, Anchor, Helm, Moran, Rouge Temporary picks not used elsewhere

If you have invested in fallback or temporary units (like Volume for Tetra), they are reasonable reset candidates if you now have the core units covered elsewhere.

Keep These Raid Burst 1 Units

Certain burst 1 units remain essential for Solo Raid and Union Raid, while others are flex picks or now best reset unless you still need them for another PvE role.

A Google Sheets guide page is open to the Solo Raid / Union Raid section, showing rows of character icons grouped under labels like Core B1's, Flex B1's, and Useful CDR Options.

Raid Burst 1 Unit Reset

  • Keep Anis, Siren, Moran, Miranda, Stove for shotgun teams; these are core burst 1 units.
  • Keep Liter, Red Hood, Rouge as flex burst 1 picks for HP race or pierce compositions; keep Summer Helm (iron advantage) and Winter Celine (shotgun) for element matchups.
  • Lower priority burst 1 units are strong reset candidates unless you need them elsewhere in PvE. Reset older or unused burst 1 units unless they are still vital in your tower, campaign, or bossing setups.
  • For DKW, keep only if used in Elysion Tower; otherwise reset if not needed for raid content.

Burst 2 Units: Core, Elemental, or Safe to Reset

Raid burst 2 unit priorities are framed below. Crown, Nita, Bunny Aid, Grave, and Blanc are still strong for bossing, while others are increasingly dated or only situationally needed.

A Google Sheets guide page shows a black section labeled with Burst 2 unit categories and rows of character portraits, with one top portrait highlighted by a blue selection box.

Burst 2 unit Role Elemental/team-specific Reset candidate
Crown, Nita Core bossing - Keep
Bunny Aid, Grave, Blanc Strong bossing - Keep if used
Winter Bride, Arcana FM, Velvet, Tohru, Maids Elemental advantage Team-specific Reset if not used
Mary, Summer Rosanna, Leona, Trina, Guilty, Yulha Niche/high investment - Reset for raid-only
Tia Missilis Tower - Keep if tower matters

Invested burst 2 units from last cycles (Mary, Summer Rosanna, Leona, etc.) are safe to reset unless you still heavily invest for niche raids. Tia remains valuable in Missilis Tower.

Burst 3 Units Worth Keeping for PvE

Certain burst 3 damage dealers retain PvE value, but several legacy or element-specific units are now mostly reset candidates unless you need them for another role.

Burst 3 unit Element or role Status Reset candidate
Rupee (fire), Rupee, Diesel, Mihara Fire, general Core Keep
Drake, Alice, Fire Rapi, Modernia Flex DPS Flex Keep if used
Vesti, A2, 2B Fire raid Fire-specific Reset unless needed elsewhere
Yulha, Snow White, Dorothy Treasure, Helm Treasure, Summer Anis Water Core Keep for water advantage
Ludmilla, Bunny Soda, Quincy Water Flex Keep for bossing situations
SBS, Liberalio, Wind Asuka Wind Core Keep
Wind Rapi Wind support Support Keep if used
Neon, Cindy Electric Core/support Keep
Isabel, Aida, Jill, Scarlet, Maid Privaty, Guillotine, K Electric Niche/dated Reset unless filling a key DPS or synergy
Laplace, Maxwell, Julia, Sugar Iron situational - Reset unless massively invested

Legacy burst 3 units are generally safe to reset if no longer used outside raid teams or if their element is no longer needed.

Units to Reset Only With Caution

Also worth knowing

  • Skill uninstallers stack: You can hold all unused uninstallers and save them for future reset cycles if you are unsure about a unit.
  • Reset cycle timing: Skill uninstallers are now distributed around every half anniversary or anniversary, not every few months.
  • PvE-only scope: The recommendations above are specific to PvE content; PvP team priorities require a separate list.
