Arknights: Endfield Overflow Trash Bin Setup

Set up an overflow trash bin so depot limit overflow gets deleted before it clogs your factory lines. This guide shows the two blueprint placements, the water connections, and how to route the last item into the crucible.

6 min read

Using the overflow trash bin setup with your 1.4 factory blueprints lets capped items be deleted in the crucible instead of blocking your production. Choose the blueprint version that matches whether your sub base C is empty, connect the water pipes and pumps as shown for your region, and assign the correct fourth item for your extra blueprint setup.

What the overflow trash bin fixes

A top-down factory management screen shows multiple production lines, depot buildings, and a large explanatory subtitle at the bottom.

Choose the right blueprint placement

A top-down factory layout is shown in blueprint mode with a highlighted placement area and build nodes around several machines and conveyors.

Blueprint options based on sub base C state

Choose the first trash bin blueprint if you are using sub base C (core AC space should be empty for this setup). If sub base C is left empty, use the second trash bin blueprint instead. Both setups are intended to fit alongside the 1.4 factory blueprints as described.

Connect the water inputs

A factory-building layout is shown with three blue water pipes running in from the left toward a central production area with pump placement markers and pipe routing.

steps

  1. Set up three water pipes: two for the left side and one for the bottom side if using the sub base C version.
  2. Place two fluid pumps on the left side pulling from the small lake, and one pump on the bottom pulling from the river on the right side.
  3. Use a pipe control port to extend the pipe length and connect each pump into the marked water pipes for your region.
  4. For the alternate placement, use a city water pump routed into the three marked pipes as shown.

Load the two deleting machines

steps

  1. Place one stack of Yatín in one acid machine.
  2. With the alternate blueprint, no crop setup is needed—deletion is automatic in that version.

How the priority output sends overflow into the crucible

The overflow trash bin setup relies on the expended crucible's multi-clog auto-fix and priority output in the protocol stash. When the crucible runs two reactions and all clog, it deletes the items in its cache. A single input line into protocol stash splits into normal and converger outputs, prioritizing the normal line when items arrive one by one. Only after reaching depot limit does overflow divert to the crucible for deletion.

Set the fourth item for your extra blueprint

Choosing the last output for your blueprint setup

Three outputs handle the main lines from your blueprint. If using the extra one blueprint, set the fourth output to the item it makes (such as syringe or ginseng tea). The location of this output differs between the core and sub base setups, but the logic stays the same.

Keep the factory from clogging again

Also worth knowing

  • Blueprint codes: Codes for both region versions were provided, and the setup is meant to pair with the 1.4 Ultimate Base guide.
  • Logic can be repurposed: Understanding priority output and crucible auto-deletion lets you adapt overflow handling to other factory layouts.
  • Output speed correction: A later clarification corrects an earlier claim—the fastest output limit is lower than previously stated.
  • Silicone effluent circuit tip: One silicone effluent circuit should be left alone; changing it would cause a clog.

FAQ

How do I set up the overflow trash bin in Wuling Factory?

Place the correct trash bin blueprint, connect the specified water pipes and pumps, and load Yatín into the acid machine as described for your variant.

What items does the overflow protector delete when they hit depot limit?

The overflow protector deletes any item assigned as your fourth output if it reaches depot limit and cannot enter the depot.

Do I use blueprint one or blueprint two if my sub base C is empty?

If your sub base C is empty, use trash bin blueprint two and deploy it at the top side. If sub base C is in use, use blueprint one and deploy it in the matching empty core AC space.

Which water pipes and pumps do I need for the trash bin setup?

For the sub base C version, connect three water pipes (two from the left lake, one from the bottom river) with pumps and a pipe control port. For the alternate layout, use a city water pump into the marked pipes.

How does the priority output logic send overflow items into the crucible?

When depot limit is reached, protocol stash prioritizes sending items to the normal output. Overflow diverts to the crucible and gets deleted if the cache clogs.

Which last item should I assign for extra one or extra two blueprints?

If using extra one, set the last output to the item your blueprint makes, such as syringes or tea.
